-- IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, in association with EMPEA, will
host the 10th Global Private Equity Conference. The two-day event will
take place on 15-16 May, 2008 in Washington D.C. at the Ronald Reagan Center.
As emerging markets private equity continues to raise unprecedented funds
for investment, participants will focus on how to create opportunities
and build value in their investments through expansion into new markets,
sectors, initiatives, and strategies.
Participants will discuss the global economic impact of private equity,
how Asia is driving the growth of other markets, which frontier markets
are attracting the most interest and why, and the trends in fast-growing
sectors such as cleantech and infrastructure.
